Experience the avia fauna on the back roads of the boreal forest. We will depart early in the morning from our meeting location and travel by van upwards of 50-75 miles as we pick our way through the birding hotspots of the north woods. This is your chance to add common loons, boreal chickadees, three-toed woodpeckers, Northern hawk owls, great grey owls, bald eagles, various shorebirds along Lake Superior, waterfowl, and upwards of 20 different species of warblers. The time of year makes a big difference, so give us a call and we will let you know what is around and help you plan your trip. This trip can be custom designed for beginners or experts. Lunch included.
Trip includes: spotting scope, field guides and reference books, beverages (lemonade, water)
